Fresh Traditional Country Ales

That means unfiltered, unpasteurized, and never force-carbonated. We achieve a smoother and more drinkable brew through the time-honored process of cask conditioning.  The live yeasts allow each keg to carbonate naturally.  This produces a greater depth of flavor over time, silky mouthfeel and truly unique character.  There is a rotating style served real ale style through a traditional beer engine for the full experience of cask beer.

Tradition is the backbone of our little operation.  While we do occasionally throw you a curveball, and you might even find a Damn IPA on tap, we are known for the classics.  For nearly three decades we have offered these traditional styles.

Old Inlet Pale: a clear dry American pale.

Broken Birch Best Bitter: light blonde and perfectly hopped.
A session beer favored by the brewery.

Red Knot Scottish: amber and user-friendly.

China Poot Porter: robust and black with a crisp finish.

Odyssey Oatmeal Stout: dark, roasted and silky smooth.

Keep an eye out for seasonal specialties like the Skyline Spruce Tip in spring, the Rhubarb Garden ale during high summer, the Celestiale, a Belgian spiced ale around the holidays, and our Solitude Imperial Stout among others!
